TERMS OF USE

Each ceramic piece (original and second editions) is handmade from stoneware by Tamara “Solem” Al-Issa out of her Toronto, Ontario studio. Please allow at least 4-6 weeks of sculpting time after placing an order. We cannot guarantee that each piece is the exact same shape and size– which is embraced and honored by the hand-made nature of this craft. No two are exactly the same.

Returns: As most pieces are made-to-order for each client, all pieces are final sale. We are unable to process returns through our stockists.

Commissions: Please e-mail Tamara at solemceramics@gmail.com for any commission requests. Commissions may be placed on a case-by-case basis, but website orders will take priority.

Shipments: You may be requested by your postal service to pay duties for international orders. Solem Ceramics is not responsible for any duty fees that may be incurred. Failure to pay duties may result in the piece being shipped back to our studio in Toronto, Ontario. If the piece arrives back safely, new shipping fees must be paid by the buyer to ship the piece back out.

Care: For Deep Blue vase care, please handle without rings or jewellery. Gently wipe any marks off of surfaces with a damp sponge. Any dinnerware is microwave and dishwasher-safe, however, to ensure the longevity of your piece, wash by hand.

Solem Ceramics is not responsible for any damages due to mishandling.

Lastly, we encourage you to use and love your ceramic. Each scuff mark, chip, and stain that your piece may gain throughout the years is a beautiful part of its aging process as it grows with you. Clay has been with us since the earth’s genesis and will continue to be molded, broken down, recycled, and molded again.
